Gov. Mark Sanford May Resign Post

Gov. Mark Sanford Resigns post after extramarital affair scandal admitted in a press conference in Washington today that he had an extramarital affair with a woman in Argentina and that he will resign his position as president of the Republican Governors Association.

During the news conference in Columbia, S.C. Gov. Sanford told a newspaper Wednesday, June 24, 2009 that he was in Argentina during his unexplained 5-day absence, not hiking along the Appalachian Trail as his office previously said.
